What’s the difference between new POI (since Nov) and old POI files?

Hi, what’s the difference between new POI (since Nov) and old POI files? I see only one Places Schema in the data docs on safegraph web site. Thanks!

Hi @Delin_Shen, POIs are added and removed with every release, as we expand our base and review data quality. Could you be more specific on what you are looking for in the comparison (i.e. the schema or content)?

The schema. I want to visualize the change of visits to POIs, and thus need to make sure the data I use has the same schema and variable definitions before and after the change in Nov. Adding or dropping POIs is not a concern as I will use only the POIs in both files.

Hi @Delin_Shen From what I can tell, everything is the same except the addition of columns: opened_on, closed_on, tracking_opened_since, and tracking_closed_since

Though these may be user based, I will need to double check. You can confirm by checking the last 4 columns of the pre and post nov POI files
