Hi! Anyone tried to correlate POI visit data to google maps popular times to validate the reliability of the POI visits data? Or validated the reliability of the POI visits data in any other way? Based on the whitepaper “Determining Point-of-Interest Visits From Location Data” the time is not considered to decide wether a cluster of pings corresponds to a visit (time is only considered after choosing a set of possible POIs). It seems like many visits may be wrongly labeled for POIs that are close to (or part of) apartment buildings. Anyone that have been exploring this?
