Using Neighborhood Patterns and Spend Data to Analyze Behavior after Hurricane Ida

I know some other community members have done work around hurricanes, so I wanted to share this notebook I’ve been working on. It’s a tutorial on how to use SafeGraph’s Neighborhood Patterns and Spend Datasets to analyze behavior after a natural disaster.

SafeGraph’s newest dataset, Spend, contains anonymized debit and credit card transaction data aggregated to individual places in the U.S. and is released on a monthly cadence. Neighborhood Patterns is also released monthly and contains footfall data aggregated by census block group (CBG) in the U.S.

Here’s a link to the full notebook. Let me know if you have any questions.
