I found it hard to prove statistically, but I did find that relative visits to GameStop grew quicker following the January 2021 new cycle compared to companies in the same NAICS code. To me, it was interesting to see that the faster growth petered out 3 months after the GameStop was non-stop in the news. Maybe it is true that any press is good press.
