Is anyone aware of a national spatial layer (US) of residential zoning?

I know of one company that is working on it for just one state. They might have insight into what the landscape looks like across the country: https://www.aeonai.com/.

@Jude_Bayham_Colorado_State_U I’ve spent time gathering zoning layers from cities and counties. I never found one entity that had it for all all political boundaries in the U.S. I’d ask https://www.aeonai.com, though.

I’ve found parcel level zoning from many cities before at https://placedatabase.policymap.com/data/placedatabase-data-directory/ (2017 though) I think someone from Policy Map may be in the consortium

The Zillow ZTrax data has zoning codes at the property level (Zillow's Assessor and Real Estate Database). The dataset is national, though I haven’t checked if they have managed to get zoning codes for every county. That said, it takes quite some time to get access—e.g. think months not days…
