Spend data census block

Hi,

I am using the safegraph spend data. I know for pattern data, we have census block of the POI. I am wondering if there is any similar item or variable in spend date? I somehow cannot find it.

Hi @lucy9383. Thanks for posting in the community. I think what’s happening is the Patterns data was pre-appended to SafeGraph Places data, so the information on CBGs, categories, etc. was already in the file. Spend data isn’t pre-appended to Places. If that’s the case, I’d encourage you to download the Places dataset and join these datasets using the Placekey.
