Show the Community: I did a project recently on the pattern of Denver car thefts using Denver's open crime records, and SafeGraph Patterns data

Hey guys, I did a fun topic recently on the pattern of Denver car thefts and finding population patterns with them. Using Denver’s open crime records, and Denver Safegraph patterns, I created Placekeys from the crime coordinates, and discovered that unlike the original hypothesis of it happening in less populated areas, it actually happens in more populated areas.

I am currently in the process of writing an article to be considered for Towards Data Science. Let me know what you guys think.

that’s interesting… as someone living in Chicago which like other cities has had a pretty large increase in carjackings I am curious of the patterns in our urban landscape here!
