Hi everyone, @Etienne_Lale_University_of_Quebec_at_Montreal, @Lien_Ta_Drexel_University and I just posted a new draft of our paper “The Impact of COVID-19 on Small Business Employment and Hours: Real-Time Estimates With Homebase Data” here. We’ve merged Homebase with SafeGraph’s Places of Interest data to obtain consistent NAICS industry codes for a subset of Homebase’s establishments (location_ids). This allows direct benchmarking of the Homebase data with the QCEW and comparison of our employment and hours estimates with the monthly CES estimates by the BLS.
