Where can I gain access to the “full” data that Safegraph provides?
I believe that Safegraph provides daily (or weekly) foot traffic data around the whole U.S. The closest one I can find is “Weekly Patterns - Historic Data”, however, this only convers the period 2018-2022.
Would you know how I can access pre-2018 data? Would I have to contact Safegraph directly? Thank you!
Hi @kim. SafeGraph only created there Patterns datasets from 2018 to 2022. You may have seen some older studies citing SafeGraph data pre-2018, but that was actually for a line of their business that they discontinued years ago. If you’re interested in the device-level data from those studies, I can introduce you to the team at Veraset which has that data…just let me know.
They’ve also now discontinued updating their Patterns product, but we have a new provider Advan that provides the Patterns datasets from 2019 to today.
