POI locations and geometry dosn't match

I am trying to understand SafeGraph place core data and the geometry data. I found two placekey in Texas Tech campus.

The first is: 222-222@5r4-38m-whq . It should be Texas Tech Lazy River Leisure Pool in the westside of campus. But after I query its geometry through place API, the geometry polygon_wkt is a restaurant on east side of campus. Photos below.

The second is:zzy-222@5r4-38m-fpv . It should be University administration building. But after I query its geometry through place API, the geometry polygon_wkt is the whole campus. Photos below.

Could you provide some explanation on why this happens to help me understand the data better?

Forgot to mention: the first photo is the correct location indicated by the Place Core dataset, the second photo is the polygons indicated by the geometry dataset. How to explain the discrepancies? Are the visitation data from place patterns based on the Geometry polygons?
