Hi everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know our population distribution dataset, LandScan USA ,is now freely available for anyone to use.

It provides estimated population counts at 3 arc-second resolution (~90m) for Nighttime and Daytime, for the Continental United States, Hawaii, and Alaska. Residents, Prisoners, Workers, Students, and Shoppers are modeled. These are baseline population estimates, which do not include transitory populations such as business travelers and tourists. Nighttime population estimates at 3 arc-second resolution are also available for Puerto Rico.

Currently the only format it is released in is file geodatabase (.gdb), but they are working to release other formats as well

This is awesome, thank you!

This is amazing. Very useful!
