I was wondering how Safegraph addresses the different methodologies between v2 (Jan 1-May 9 2020), and v2.1 (everything else), especially given that for data after May 9, the baseline is calculated using data released under a different version?

Hi - I’m not sure where to bring this question. My team has been essentially trying to recreate the Safegraph Shelter in Place index using the social distancing dataset, and using the second week in February as our baseline. I was wondering how Safegraph addresses the different methodologies between v2 (Jan 1-May 9 2020), and v2.1 (everything else), especially given that for data after May 9, the baseline is calculated using data released under a different version. Additionally, we have noticed a pretty big discrepancy between distanced traveled for the different versions - is there anyway I could get more information on how methodologies changed from v2 to v2.1 ? Thank you!
