Foot traffic in offices that are part of multi-level towers

With the addition of many corporate POIs (i.e., NIACS 551114 - see the April release notes here), how is foot traffic in offices that are part of multi-level towers handled? Does the data distinguish between visits to the corporate offices of Company A on floor 23 and visits to the corporate offices of Company B on floor 17?

Thanks!

Hi @Nicholas_Hallman_UT_Austin - have you checked out our Patterns docs page? There’s a section below the schema, Visit Attribution for Special Cases, that will give you more information on this.

To add to Niki’s comment, there is a feature in our visit attribution model that distinguishes between POIs with different naics. i.e., if the polygons are right on top of each other, and Company A on floor 23 has a different naics than Company B on floor 17, then there is a mechanism in our model to distinguish between such visits.

That said, if they’re the same type of naics, then the model will have trouble distinguishing between the two. In general, visits in multi-level towers are challenging for our model to resolve precisely.
